The ceremony was held at the Café on 300-A Columbus Avenue in Tuckahoe, where it opened in September last year.

“We’re pleased to have the Chocolate Box Café as a Chamber member,” said Chamber President Paul Okura. “We welcome them to the business community and wish them much success going forward.”

The Chocolate Box Cafe is located right in front of the Crestwood Railway Station. It opens at 6 a.m. for breakfast and is great for commuters needing their lattes, cappuccinos, parfaits and fresh croissants, according to a release.

The boutique chocolate cafe specializes in handmade, artisanal and uniquely flavored chocolates. Theses custom-made chocolates are are made in-house and fresh to order with the finest of ingredients and without any preservatives, the release said.

The cream, spices, fruit and nuts are carefully selected to enhance and complement the flavor of the chocolate.

The Café also has a wide variety of sandwiches, soups and salads for lunch, and customers should be on the lookout for its soon-to- be dinner menu, which is great for those nights when guests don't feel like cooking.

“It's a dream come true for me and I love to share it with all of you," said Sabrina Seetarram, founder and chocolatier. "We are very happy to be here in Tuckahoe; this is a town that truly supports their local businesses."

"The Tuckahoe and Eastchester community are very encouraging;  I’m glad I chose to be here. Our chocolates are made to be enjoyed, so please, give yourself a much deserved treat and relax with a box of our bonbons."
