The barre-based workout, with studios in Manhattan, the, Hamptons, Beverly Hills, Bangkok and Dubai, brings full circle the goal of bringing business back to her hometown. Though Vaughn Maanavi currently lives in Manhattan, she said her parents are still in Scarsdale and it was always a goal of hers to have a studio close to "home."
The studio launched as a pop-up in October 2013 but after six months became "official."
"I just knew the busy and sophisticated ladies of Scarsdale would appreciate having a method that produces results so quickly. I also knew they'd enjoy the warm studio community," said Vaughan Maanavi of the decision.
As to why it's so popular? (it has a large celebrity following that includes Chrissy Teigen, Emmy Rossum and Kelly Ripa, among others) Vaughan Maanavi said Physique 57 blends intervals of cardio, strength training and stretching while working every inch of your body so it’s really a one-stop shop, all in just 57 minutes.
"The workout sculpts and tones abs, arms, thighs and bottoms and melts inches off. It's designed to make every second count and give you maximum results in the least amount of time," she said. "Clients see results in as few as eight workouts. But the best part is, you’ll actually have fun while you’re getting stronger mentally and physically."
New this year: Videos on the company's VOD platform as well as DVDs.
