The hybrid of a Chinese noodle house and dim sum palace meets tapas bar is now expanding into Rye early next month and into Greenwich, Conn., in January.

WUJI’s menu covers the waterfront with dishes based on organic chicken, pasture-raised pork, grass-fed beef, wild fish, cage-free eggs, and organic vegetables.

WUJI Restaurant, a product of MAAC Hospitality Group, is co-owned by Jody Pennette, founder and creative mind behind cb5 Hospitality Consulting, and Moodi Zahid, a business partner and friend for more than 30 years.

The culinary masterminds behind the menu are chef Lin Chen, vice president of Food & Beverage for MAAC Hospitality Group, who has more than 30 years of experience cooking around the world; and executive chef Guang Zanghou, a Hong Kong native and the former chef of China White in Greenwich, Conn., and Purchase.
