SCARSDALE, N.Y. -- Scarsdale's JCC of Mid-Westchester and Camp Zeke are set to kick off the Day of Wellness on Oct. 20 with a 5K run.
The run is part of a day-long event to promote wellness in Scarsdale. The run begins at 9 a.m. Oct. 20 at the JCC on 999 Wilmot Road in Scarsdale, according to a press release. Pre-registration for the run is $15 with the charge rising to $20 on the day of the run.
"The JCC of Mid-Westchester & Camp Zeke are thrilled to present Day of Wellness," representatives said in the release. "Attend a cooking show with Kosher by Design author Susie Fishbein, work out with champion boxers Dmitriy Salita and Yuri Foreman, shoot hoops with pro basketball player Tamir Goodman, attend a comedy show with the hilarious Bible Players, and join the JCC of Mid-Westchester's expert instructors for spin, yoga, and Zumba. The event will feature a farmer's market organized by our friends at Adamah and Hazon."
The Westchester Road Runners Club and New Rochelle Parks & Recreation Department are helping promote the day's events.
