The honorees of the Scarsdale-based organization include New York State Regent Judith Johnson, the Monroe College School of Education and the Westchester Library System for creating or funding programs and initiatives for children.
They also will recognize the 2016 Joey Award Winners for contributions to child care and quality of life for children and working parents in Westchester.
These are the winners:
- Raquel Burton – Busy B’s Child Daycare, Inc.
- Lynda Merchant – NYS Association for the Education of Young Children
- Brent Morton – Country Childrens Center
- Suzanne Newcomb – St. Paul’s Child Care Center
- Iris Rivera – Westchester County Department of Social Services
- Shannon Shields – Westchester Community Opportunity Program, Inc.
The breakfast is at the Westchester Marriott, 670 White Plains Road, in Tarrytown.
