Fciac Boys Soccer Tournament Field Is Set

NORWALK, Conn. — The FCIAC boys soccer tournament seedings were settled on Wednesday. The Norwalk Bears earned the No. 1 seed for the second consecutive season, while Trumbull beat Trinity Catholic on Wednesday to move into the No. 2 seed.

The No. 3 spot went to the surprising Darien Blue Wave. Traditional state powerhouse Staples took the No. 4 seed with Wednesday's win over Harding.

Greenwich gained the fifth seed by tying Norwalk, 0-0, on Wednesday.

Westhill, Wilton and New Canaan tied at 29 points, with Westhill earning the sixth seed based on having the best record among the three teams. Wilton took seventh based on its regular season win over New Canaan.
