New this year, Solomon Schechter School of Westchester has
launched a distinguished lecture series for the Westchester community – STEM Talks @ Schechter Westchester. Featuring accomplished professionals in STEM-related fields (Science, Technology, Engineering, Math), the lecture series was created to demonstrate the real-life application of STEM education, with a goal of inspiring students to pursue careers in these critical areas. Tonight’s discussion with guest lecturer Dr. Paul Hertz marks the second in the exciting new program.
As Director of the Astrophysics Division in the Science Mission Directorate at NASA, Dr. Paul Hertz is responsible for the Agency’s research programs and missions to discover how the universe works, explore how the universe began and developed into its present form, and search for Earth-like planets.
