A wine-and-cheese reception and book signing will follow the program.
The book is a collection of stories from the columns of Lyons’ father, New York Post columnist Leonard Lyons, from 1934-74, a peak era of glamorous New York City nightlife.
The book includes stories about such celebrities as Ethel Barrymore, Muhammad Ali, Tennessee Williams and Jackie Kennedy, as well as other politicians, athletes and artists.
Jeffrey Lyons has co-hosted three national movie review shows in his 45-year career in television, radio and print.
He is the author of a previous book about his father’s columns and co-author of several books on baseball trivia.
