PELHAM, N.Y. - The Daily Pelham readers visited the site's Facebook page to discuss the Sept. 11 ceremony held by the town on Saturday morning.
One reader, Richard Lamb, asked what time the ceremony would be held. He confirmed that he would attend the memorial ceremony moments after he learned when it was being held.
Another reader posted some reflections early Sunday morning. Jackie Miller commented on the beauty of the ceremony, the speech delivered by Nancy Shea, and the memorial itself.
"I did (attend) and it was beautiful, very moving," Miller wrote. "I was a little way back and could not hear when Mrs. Shea spoke but it was nice. The pinwheels that are there now are a nice touch too."
