Grab Your Partner For Giant Hoedown In Stamford

STAMFORD, Conn. -- Stamford's Harbor Point will host a giant square dance on Saturday, Oct. 8, in front of the Beacon apartments.

Couples and solos are invited to participate regardless of experience.

Dave Harvey of NYC Barn Dance will call and host the free hootenanny.

Couples and solos are invited to participate regardless of experience since Harvey teaches the dance steps before each dance.

The square dance will feature a live hoedown band.

The event will be from 5 to 8 p.m.

Building and Land Technology, the developer of Harbor Point and numerous residential, commercial, and mixed-use projects, announced last May that it had retained Biederman Redevelopment Ventures to assist in the development of public events, recreational offerings, and programming at Harbor Point.
