POUGHKEEPSIE, N.Y. - Hilda Gory Rodriguez of Poughkeepsie, formerly of Peekskill, died Sept. 7. She was 63.
Rodriguez was born Feb. 11, 1950, in Peekskill, to Titus and Audrey L. Hodge Gory. She attended Westchester Business Institute in White Plains. She had been a cabinet refinisher at Best for Less Home Remodelers in Peekskill. Most recently she was a sales associate at Macy's in Poughkeepsie.
Rodriguez is survived by children; Celest M. Clarke, Heather A. Jacobsen, Ardence A. Ebanks and Lennart J. Gory: 10 grandchildren; two great-grandsons; and siblings, Shahiqa Abdul-Matin, Marsha A. Bailey, Alexis Michaels and John S. Gory. She was predeceased by her parents; and brother, Olonzo Gory.
Calling hours are Thursday, Sept. 12 from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. at the Joseph F. Nardone Funeral Home, Peekskill. A Funeral Mass will be celebrated at 10 a.m. Friday, Sept. 13 at the Assumption Church. Interment will follow at Assumption Cemetery.
