HARRISON, N.Y. The Purchase College chapter of the New York Public Interest Research Group will present the Horror Haus of Fracking Wednesday, an interactive opportunity to convey "the horrors of hydraulic fracturing," the group said in a statement.
The presentation will be performed through the style of pop icon Lady Gaga.
"The Horror Haus of Fracking will inspire participants to take action during the ongoing public comment period to protect New York from becoming Gasland," the public interest research group said in a statement. A performance of "Fractured Fairytales" will be featured with a performance by the school's theater students.
The presentation is scheduled for Wednesday, Nov. 16 from 8 p.m. to 1 a.m. at the college's Student Center.
