Larchmont Police: Suspended Registration, License And More Break Ins

LARCHMONT, N.Y. -- A Larchmont women reported Jan. 13 that someone posted $527 in fraudulent charges on her bank account.

The following incidents were also reported in the Larchmont Police Department blotter.

Vehicle and Traffic Law Arrest: A Mamaroneck man was arrested on Jan. 13 and charged with operating with a suspended registration. The vehicle was impounded and the operator released on bail.

Vehicle and Traffic Law Arrest: A New Rochelle man was involved in a car accident on Boston Post Road Jan. 13. After police arrived, they charged him with operating with a suspended license. The car was impounded and the driver was released on $100 bail.

Larceny: A Larchmont woman reported on Jan. 10 that someone took her bicycle, worth $375, from her driveway.

Burglary: A Larchmont man reported on Jan. 7 that someone entered his Ocean Avenue home overnight and stole property worth more than $2,700.

Burglary: Another Larchmont man reported on Jan. 8 that someone entered his Bay Avenue home overnight and stole property worth more than $3,500.

The Larchmont Police Department also responded to 15 burglar alarms, five motor vehicle accidents, six aided cases and 40 other calls for service.
