Larchmont Store Reports Counterfeit Money

LARCHMONT, N.Y. - The owner of a Palmer Avenue business reported on Jan. 18 that someone entered his establishment and bought goods using counterfeit money.

The following incidents were also reported in the Larchmont Police Department blotter between Jan. 18 and Jan. 21.

Larceny: A Kane Avenue resident reported on Jan. 18 that someone broke into her car, which she had parked and left unlocked in her driveway, and removed $400 worth of property.

Burglary: An employee of a Boston Post Road business reported Jan. 20 that someone broke into the establishment. No property was reported stolen.

The Larchmont Police Department also responded to seven burglar alarms, five motor vehicle accidents, seven aided cases and 46 other calls for service.
