Campers Can Help Homeless Animals At SPCA Camp In Briarcliff

BRIARCLIFF MANOR, N.Y. --- At the SPCA of Westchester at Camp Critter in Briarcliff Manor, children can make a difference in the lives of homeless animals.

Campers will help find homes for shelter animals, bake dog biscuits and make cat toys, interact with the animals, learn about sheltering, animal care, animal cruelty and how they can make a difference in the lives of homeless animals. 

They will also take part in environmental and humane education projects, arts, crafts, games,and more. 

2016 Camp Schedule: (sessions are for 1 week, Monday-Friday from 1-4 p.m.) 

  • Kids ages 6 - 9, weeks of July 11, July 25, August 8 
  • Kids ages 10 - 12, weeks of July 18, August 1, August 1
