Jlcw To Host Holiday Boutique In Eastchester

EASTCHESTER, N.Y. – The Junior League of Central Westchester (JLCW) is inviting local residents to start their holiday shopping early at the 26th annual Holiday Boutique, being held for the first time at the Lake Isle Country Club in Eastchester.

From 6 to 10 p.m. on Nov. 8 and from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. on Nov. 9, there will be a series of vendors, and many local businesses offering a variety of goods.

“The event promises many exciting features, including merchandise from [more than] 40 vendors, plated samples from some of Westchester’s premiere restaurants, wine, spirits and beer tastings, as well as spa treatments,” Christine Pasqueralle, the media co-chair of the JLCW said. “Proceeds will benefit the JLCW’s programs that support the community.”

At the boutique, there will be gifts, accessories, jewelry, home décor, clothing and children’s items. Vendors will include Sophie’s Runway, The Look, Chintz Giraffe and We Wear It. Guests will also have the opportunity to sell gold and silver items for cash.

On Nov. 8, there will be a “Taste of Our Town,” showcasing samples from some of Westchester County’s finest restaurants. There will be a wine and spirits tasting, hosted by Vintology of Scarsdale and an artisanal beer tasting hosted by Tuckahoe’s Growler’s Beer Bistro.

On Nov. 9, patrons will have the opportunity to indulge, with food from Andy’s Pure Foods in Rye and Cooked and Co. in Scarsdale. Additionally, there will be complimentary mini-spa treatments provided by several of the county’s massage therapists.

The LJCW said that there is a $35 suggested donation that would include entry for both days, while admission just for festivities on Nov. 9 is a suggested $20 donation. There will be a $10 “express shopping” option available for those just looking to get ahead on their holiday purchases.

Proceeds from the event will support JLCW programs that provide health, literacy, food and other necessities to underprivileged, low-income families.
