The 'teens giving back' group is collecting the following items:
- Warm coats: Large and extra large sizes. Dark colors are preferred.
- Durable pants and jeans, large sizes are preferred.
- Hoodies, sweatshirts and long-sleeve shirts: large and extra large. Dark colors preferred.
- T-shirts: Medium through extra large. Any color.
- Hats and Gloves: Knit and warm for winter.
- Shoes: Sizes 9 through 12 and above. Lightly worn sneakers or athletic shoes (no spikes), soft-soled shoes and work boots are preferred.
- Long underwear: Large sizes. Any color.
- Belts
- Backpacks
- Blankets and sleeping bags
- Underwear and socks (New items only, please)
- Travel size toiletries: bar and liquid soaps, toothbrushes, toothpastes, shampoos, washcloths, razors, shaving creams, deodorants, lip balms and moisturizers.
While women’s clothing is welcome, the club requests a strong need for men’s clothing. Donations will be accepted through the Wednesday, Nov. 26.
Residents should contact the Village Clerk’s office with any questions by telephone at 914-722-1175. Village Hall hours are 9 a.m. to 5 p.m.; Monday through Friday.
