SCARSDALE, N.Y. -- Mathnasium of Scarsdale has announced they will host a Summer Speaker Series to share with kids how math is used in everyday life in various career paths.
The series schedule is as follows:
Special Girls-Only Night: Wednesday, Aug. 6, 6 p.m. to 7:30 p.m., Annabel Monaghan. Monaghan is the author of two novels for young adults, A Girl Named Digit and Double Digit and is co-author of Click! The Girls Guide to Knowing What You Want and Making it Happen.
Wednesday, Aug. 20, 6 p.m. to 7 p.m., Sarah D’Amico, director of product development and merchandising for Party City.
Wednesday, Aug. 27, 6 p.m. to 7 p.m., Liz Schwarzwalder, manager of finance and planning at Disney Theatrical Productions.
All are welcome to attend this free series. Topics are geared towards children in Grades 4 and up. Seating is limited.
