Arguably the most divisive event in what is considered by many to be the turbulent decade in modern American history is the Vietnam War. Pace University assistant professor of history Dr. Durahn Taylor will discus the war and its repercussions in his lecture entitled Counting the Cost: America and the Vietnam War, held this Friday evening at 7pm at the library.

Taylor will explain how several events at the conclusion of World War II shaped U.S foreign policy in Southeast Asia for more than half a century.

Taylor holds a Bachelor of Arts in History from Columbia University, a Master of Arts in History from American University, and a Ph.D. in History from Columbia University.

All are welcome to attend.
