Scarsdale Celebrates Another Successful Sidewalk Sale

SCARSDALE, N.Y. -- The Scarsdale Annual Sidewalk Sale was held in Scarsdale Village on July 30, 31 and Aug. 1.

The day began with Equinox’s Vinyasa Yoga class in Chase Park. By late morning, the streets were bustling with shoppers looking for great deals and the sidewalks were full of tents ready for business.

The Greenburgh Nature Center brought a slow-moving friend, and Furrylicious brought some puppies to play with. Several new food vendors came to sell their cuisine and Scott Kazan, balloon extraordinaire, made magical ballon art for the children all Saturday afternoon.

Music pumped through the Village Center by the DJ, JD Sound Entertainment, on Saturday afternoon, as well. In addition to village storefront sales, vendors came from near and far selling everything from clothing to jewelry to handbags to personal fitness packages to health food to puppies and dog spa items.
