Bingo After Dark: Bingo, sweet treats and fun for all benefiting the SHS PTA Scholarship Fund on Wednesday, Feb. 26. (snow date: Thursday, Feb. 27) from 6:30 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. at the SHS cafeteria.
Youth Employment Services: Students can earn cash for skills. Head over to the Youth Employment Service office by the commons area and sign up between 11:30 a.m. and 1:30 p.m.
A-School Info Meeting: The Scarsdale Alternative School will hold its annual information meeting for parents and prospective students on Monday, Feb. 10 at 7:30 p.m. at the Scarsdale Girl Scout House on Wayside Lane.
The A-School director, dean, faculty members, PTA representatives, high school administration and students will be on hand to answer questions about goals, curriculum, activities and the admission process.
Scarsdale High School students may select the A-School for their sophomore through senior years, although must enter as sophomores. For information, call the A-School at 914-721-2590.
SHS PTA Seeks Interested Candidates For Board: The SHS PTA nominating committee is seeking interested candidates for the PTA executive board next year. The positions available are: president-elect, treasurer, vice president and corresponding secretary. Please contact nominating chairperson, Joy Brownstein at joybrownstein@gmail.com.
