SCARSDALE, N.Y. -- The second in a series of three films on Jewish Perspectives runs Tuesday, Oct. 29 at the Scarsdale Library.

The film "A Bottle in the Gaza Sea" will show at 7 p.m.  at the library on 54 Olmstead Road, according to a press release. The film is co-sponsored by the Westchester Region of Hadassah and the Scarsdale Public Library.

The film tells the story of "a 17-year-old Israeli girl and a 20-year-old Palestinian man and how a bottle thrown in the sea and an email correspondence nurture the hope that their relationship might give them the strength to confront the harsh reality," according to the release.

The series is set to conclude with "The Other Son" on Nov. 12. For information, residents are asked to contact Hadassah at 914-937-3151 or the Scarsdale Library at 914-722-1300.
