SCARSDALE, N.Y. -- Dr. Richard Borkow, the author of "George Washington's Westchester Gamble: The Encampment on the Hudson and the Trapping of Cornwallis," will visit the Scarsdale Public Library on Sunday, March 6.
Borkow will discuss the role that the Westchester encampment played as July 4, 1781, was a critical point in the American Revolution.
Borkow is a physician at Blythedale Children's Hospital in Valhalla and the village historian of Dobbs Ferry.
This event will take place at 2 p.m. in the Scarsdale Library Scott Room, and light refreshments will be served.
