Scarsdale Recital To Feature French Violin, Piano Masterpieces

SCARSDALE, N.Y. -- The Hoff-Barthelson Music School will present a recital of French violin and piano masterpieces on Sunday, Jan. 12, at the Greenville Community Church in Scarsdale.

A recital to be held by the Hoff-Barthelson Music School in Scarsdale will feature works by César Franck, a 19th-century French composer, pianist and organist, as well as Debussy and Ravel.

The recital starts at 5 p.m.

Among the works that violinist Peggy Klinger and pianist Gerald Robbins will perform are: Claude Debussy’s Violin Sonata in D minor; Maurice Ravel’s Violin Sonata No. 2 in G Major; and César Franck’s Violin Sonata in A Major.

Admission to the recital is $18 for adults; $15 for seniors; and free for HBMS students and students 18 and younger.
