Scarsdale Seniors To Visit Caramoor For Spring Trip

SCARSDALE, N.Y. -- The Scarsdale Parks and Recreation Department will have its final spring trip for seniors with a visit to the Caramoor Center for Music and Arts in Katonah at 9:40 a.m. June 3.

The trip begins with a performance of Spanish flamenco dancing and music in the courtyard followed by a docent led tour of the historic Rosen House. The Rosen House is a Mediterranean-style mansion with Renaissance paintings, tapestries, sculpture, wrought iron and Urbino majolica.

For more information or to register, call the Scarsdale Parks and Recreation Department at (914) 722-1160. Participation is $25 for Scarsdale Senior Members and $27 for non-members. Seniors are asked to bring a snack or brown bag lunch.
