“A Taste of Summer” takes place at 7:30 p.m.,at Vintology Wine & Spirits, 10 Palmer Ave. in Scarsdale. The event will feature a chef demonstration, seasonal tasting menu and organic wines.
"Guests will enjoy watching Chef Jennifer in action as she demonstrates how to infuse global flavors into summer’s finest produce, along with practical cooking tips and techniques," representatives said in a press release. "Vintology’s Manager, Elizabeth Miller, Certified Specialist of Wine, will pair and discuss organic wines to match these easy to prepare, delicious summer dishes."
The series "Organic: From Kitchen To Vineyard," started in winter 2013. Each event in the series aims to provide a "fun and interactive evening with a seasonally inspired menu, great wine and interesting conversation about the evolving landscape of local, sustainable and organic farming and wine production," according to the release.
The menu for the event includes Crunchy Slaw with Asian Sesame Dressing; Tandoori Chicken Kabobs, Cucumber Raita; Summer Harvest Salad with Classic French Vinaigrette; and Salt and Pepper Steak, Chimichurri Sauce.
