SCARSDALE, N.Y. — The Scarsdale Teen Center has announced two programs for the spring.
The first is a baby sitter training course set for Friday, March 27, from 9 a.m.-4 p.m. The event will have certified Red Cross instructors helping students ages 11 and older learn about caring for children up to age 10, along with the challenges of running a baby-sitting business.
There will a designated lunch break of 30-45 minutes, but be aware that the center won't provide lunch.
The center has also planned a "RISK!" storytelling night, but no date or time has been set yet.
"RISK!" is a live show and podcast where contributors tell "true stories they never thought they’d dare to share in public." Plans are to hold a workshop to get people used to the idea, then hold a slam session at the end of the day.

The teen center is at 862 Scarsdale Ave.
