Scarsdale Woman's Club Stages 'Tales Well Told: Women Breaking Loose'

SCARSDALE, N.Y. -- The Scarsdale Woman’s Club welcomes back Michele LaRue in a presentation celebrating Women’s History Month on Wednesday, March 9, at 2 p.m., called "'Tales Well Told: Women Breaking Loose,' a double bill of Kate Chopin’s 'A Pair of Silk Stockings' and Edna Ferber’s 'Representing T. A. Buck.'"

The program is free and the public is welcome. 

The Scarsdale Woman’s Club is a nonprofit organization serving the tri-state area since 1918. 

The women of the Scarsdale Woman's Club come from 28 communities and three counties. The club is run completely by its member volunteers.

Programs include varied musical performances from Brazilian jazz to Vivaldi; and speakers on a wide range of topics including antique timepieces, African wildlife, women in art and pearls and gems.
