SCARSDALE, N. Y. -- The award-winning novel "I'll Give You the Sun" is the featured book for November for the Not Your Kids Book Club for Adults based at the Scarsdale Public Library.

Participants will talk about the book, written by Jandy Nelson, at the club's meeting set for 1 p.m. Nov. 4 at the library, 54 Olmsted Road.

To register and reserve a copy of the book, visit the library's website or call the reference desk at (914)-722-1302.

The book's plot focuses on Jude and her twin brother Noah, who as children are inseparable. Years later, they are barely speaking. Something happened to change the twins in different yet equally devastating ways.

The early years are Noah's to tell; the later years are Jude's. But they each have only half the story.

Not Your Kids Book Club for Adults is led by Scarsdale resident Sheela Chari, whose debut children’s novel, "Vanished," was a 2012 APALA Children’s Literature honor book, an Edgar Award nominee for best juvenile mystery and was featured on the "Today" show with Al’s Book Club for Kids.
