GREENBURGH, N.Y. -- Even with the annual train show at the Greenburgh Nature Center ending this weekend, visitors should plan ahead and look to 2016 for new and annual events being held.
The Yonkers Model Railroad Club’s dazzling train displays come together with members of the Nature Centers's animal family. The last day of the show is Sunday, and it will be open to both members and non-members from 10 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.
Looking to 2016, the Nature Center is already planning its Maple Sugaring Party on March 6 and the Great Green Egg-travaganza on March 20.
Children are invited to participate in the Weepaint program where they are encouraged to explore new art materials, experience new textures and learn to be creative in groups. Register now to reserve a place for Weepaint.
