What To Do Around Scarsdale This Weekend

SCARSDALE, N.Y. – A free candy tasting, children’s programming and a film screening at the library highlight the events scheduled in Scarsdale this weekend.

Friday, Feb. 22

Music at the Park: 9:30 p.m. Park 143 Bistro will showcase guest artist John James playing rock and soul. Guests will receive a free Park Bellini. 143 Parkway Road, Bronxville.

Candy Tasting: 11 a.m. Imagine Candy will host a free chocolate and candy tasting for residents. 22 Harwood Court, Scarsdale.

February films: 11 a.m. The Scarsdale Public Library will continue its February film series with a screening of “Hans Christian Andersen.” 54 Olmsted Road, Scarsdale.

Saturday, Feb. 23

Babies and Bagels: 9:15 a.m. This informal, drop-in playgroup is for babies and toddlers with their moms, dads, caregivers and grandparents. All are welcome. No fee. Westchester Reform Temple, 255 Mamaroneck Road, Scarsdale.

Children’s Art Class: 9:45 a.m. Children ages 3 to 5 can gain confidence in self-expression through painting, sculpting, drawing, collage, dramatic play and more at Gymboree. 450 Central Park Ave., Greenburgh.

Sunday, Feb. 24

Coffee Hour: 11:30 a.m. The Scarsdale Congregational Church hosts a coffee hour every Sunday after services. The first Sunday of the month is "Children’s Day." It is a chance to catch up with friends and neighbors, and meet new ones. All ages are welcome. 1 Heathcote Road, Scarsdale.

Purim Party: 5 p.m. The Bronxville Women’s Club will host a Purim party for residents. $10. 135 Midland Ave., Bronxville.
