What To Do Around Scarsdale This Week

SCARSDALE, N.Y. – Christmas Eve services, December mini-camps at the JCC and kids' films at the library highlight the events planned around Scarsdale this week.

Monday, Dec. 24

Christmas Eve: Santa Claus is on his way.

Winter Recess: Schools will be closed until Jan. 2.

December Mini-camps: 9 a.m. A wide variety of vacation programs are offered at the JCC of Mid-Westchester that incorporate sports, arts, swimming, lunch, movies or cooking. $50-$70 per day. 999 Wilmot Road, Scarsdale.

Christmas Eve Services: 6 p.m., 11 p.m. Worship services will be held at the Greenville Community Church. The 6 p.m. service is designed for families with young children. The 11 p.m. service will feature carols, candlelight and a Christmas message. 270 Ardsley Road, Scarsdale.

Tuesday, Dec. 25

Christmas Day: Village Hall and the public library will be closed.

Wednesday, Dec. 26

Board of Trustees: 8:30 a.m. The Scarsdale Board of Trustees will hold a work session at Village Hall. 1001 Post Road, Scarsdale.

Holiday Open Gym: 10 a.m. Gymboree is welcoming children to play at its Scarsdale location during the holidays. 450 Central Park Ave., Scarsdale.

Kids' Film: 10:30 a.m. The Scarsdale Public Library will screen "Madagascar III" for children. 54 Olmsted Road, Scarsdale.

Thursday, Dec. 27

Kids' Film: 10:30 a.m. The Scarsdale Public Library will screen "Ice Age: Continental Drift" for children. 54 Olmsted Road, Scarsdale.
