What's Happening Around Scarsdale This Weekend

SCARSDALE, N.Y. – The Teen Center will have a board meeting Friday, and the farmers' market will once again come to the merchant parking lot Saturday morning. See our Events Page for a complete list of local and county events.

Friday, Aug. 17

Tai Chi: 11 a.m. to noon. There will be an introductory tai chi class hosted by Master Domingo Colon. Trial classes are $25. Call (914) 337-3339 to RSVP or e-mail sifu@taichischool.com. Hosted at the West Center Congregational Church, 101 Pondfield Road, Bronxville.

Jazz and Blues at Dusk: 6:30 p.m. Keyboardist and recording artist Lao Tizer and his band will have music for all ages and musical tastes as they play an evening of music at the Yonkers Waterfront. 71 Water Grant St., Yonkers.

Saturday, Aug. 18

Farmers' Market: 9 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. The Scarsdale Farmers' Market will return to the Scarsdale Village Merchant Parking Lot.
