What's Happening In Scarsdale This Weekend?

SCARSDALE, N.Y. – With the weeks of summer ticking away, this weekend may be one of the last for residents to get down to the Scarsdale Village Merchant Parking Lot and enjoy the farmers market. See our Events page for a complete list of local and county happenings.

Friday, Aug. 10

Arts and Animals camp: 10 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. This camp combines outdoor art activities with natural science enrichment, using live animals as art models and inspiration. This camp for fourth- through six-graders is held at the Greenburgh Nature Center. $375 per session for members; $425 for non-members.

Drop-In Hours: 2 to 11 p.m. Teens are welcome to stop in and enjoy their space. Play video games or pool, watch a movie, or just hang out with friends. Scarsdale Teen Center, 862 Scarsdale Ave., Scarsdale.

Jazz and Blues at Dusk: 6:30 p.m. Saxophonist Joe Abba will join forces with hip-hop fusion band Identity Crisis for an evening of music at the Yonkers Waterfront. 71 Water Grant St., Yonkers.

Popham Bridge closure: 8:30 p.m. The Popham Road Bridge will be closed to vehicular and pedestrian traffic until 5 a.m. Saturday.

Saturday, Aug. 11

Farmers Market: 9 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. The Scarsdale Farmers Market will return to the Scarsdale Village Merchant Parking Lot.

Sunday, Aug. 12

Coffee Hour: 11:30 a.m. The Scarsdale Congregational Church hosts a coffee hour every Sunday immediately following services. It is a chance to catch up with friends and neighbors, and meet new ones. All ages are welcome. 1 Heathcote Road, Scarsdale.
