There is a demonstration for local landscapers on Wednesday and a charity event for the Ronald McDonald House on Thursday featuring a parachute team. Monday, July 16
Bagels and Babies: 9:15 to 10:15 a.m. The Westchester Reform Early Childhood Center is bringing back this drop-in playgroup for mothers, fathers, caregivers and parents. The program is free and open to the community. 255 Mamaroneck Road, Scarsdale.
Municipal Services Committee: 7 p.m. There will be a meeting of the Municipal Services Committee of the Board of Trustees of the village. They will discuss building department enforcement and public recourse. 1001 Post Road, Scarsdale.
Nighttime construction: 9 p.m. to 5 a.m. Beginning Monday and lasting through the week, there will be evening construction on the Popham Road Bridge.
Wednesday, July 18

Mulching training: 4 p.m. The village is conducting a leaf mulching and composting training and demonstration for local landscapers working within the village to implement leaf-mulching techniques. The demonstration will be at Village Hall in the third floor meeting room. 1001 Post Road, Scarsdale.
Nia Technique class: 7 p.m. There will be a free Nia Technique class at Athleta. Join Linda Parker of Soulistic Adventures as she guides you through a combination of the martial arts, dance arts and healing arts to soul-stirring music. 200 Post Road, Scarsdale.
Thursday, July 19
Ronald McDonald charity event: 9 a.m. The Scarsdale Fire Department and firefighters union Local 1394 are bringing children from the Ronald McDonald House to the village. A military parachute stunt team will make an appearance at around 10:45 a.m. The event is being held until around 4:30 p.m. at Fire Station No. 3 on Crossway and the nearby swimming pool on Mamaroneck Road.
