White Plains Panel Discusses Future Of Latino Youth

WHITE PLAINS, N.Y. -- Latino U College Access's inaugural Speakers Panel, "Perspectives: The Future of Latino Youth in Weschester County," will be held Wednesday, April 20, at Reckson Metro Center in White Plains.

The featured speaker will be Angela Maria Garcia, executive director of College Planning and Access for the College Board. Panelists will include Donovan Beckford, Westchester-Putnam Workforce Development Board; Maria Fernandez-Williams, IBM; and Diana Gonzalez, Rutgers University.

The Perspectives' panelists will speak about the growing Hispanic student population, opportunities in higher education and the impact the Hispanic community will have on the economic growth and workforce of Westchester County. ​
