NEW ROCHELLE, N.Y. – Long distance runners from all over the country participated in the fifth annual Paine to Pain half marathon, which starts participants in New Rochelle and takes them through trails in various other Sound Shore towns.

In the men’s division, Mamaroneck-native Richard Marsico paced the field with a first place time of 1:23.27, followed by Morgan Thompson (1:24.40), Nicholas Pampena (1:26.51), Adria Botifoll (1:27.40) and Peter Yarema (1:28.16).
