SCARSDALE, N.Y. — The Scarsdale Recreation Department will host a special event Saturday evening for bicyclists and inline skaters.
In coordination with the Scarsdale Police Department and Scarsdale Chamber of Commerce, the Recreation Department will once again present Bike and Blade Night, from 6 p.m. to 9 p.m. in the downtown streets of the village.
All elementary and middle-school students are invited to bring their friends and families for this summer kick-off event, which will feature music and entertainment. Children can bring their bikes for a free safety inspection by Danny’s Cycles.
Senior recreation leader Dan Walczewski said that, in the event of severe weather, the event would be canceled by 4 p.m. Saturday. A notification will be posted on the Recreation Department’s website.
