Coffee, Green Tea Lower Risk Of Heart Disease, Study Says

WESTCHESTER COUNTY, N.Y. – A new study done in Japan says drinking coffee and green tea every day can lower the risk of heart disease and strokes, reports the Wall Street Journal.

Japan’s National Cancer Center and the University of Tokyo studied the drinking and eating habits during a 19-year period of people ages 40-69, and found those who drank 3-4 cups of coffee a day were 24 percent less likely to die from health problems.
