Despite the current warmth, the village of Scarsdale and the Federal Emergency Management Agency remind residents and businesses that freezing rain, ice, snow and high winds can occur during winter storms.

These conditions can result in power outages and dangerous roads and walkways.

Residents and businesses are advised to plan and prepare to minimize the impact of a winter storm should one arrive and encouraged to review FEMA's How to Prepare for a Winter Storm.
