'Orange Is New Black' Among Productions Filming In Westchester

YONKERS, N.Y. -- Scenes for Netflix’s women’s prison comedy-drama “Orange is the New Black” were being shot in Yonkers this week, according to a report by lohud.com.

Film crews for “Orange,” now heading into its fourth season, were spotted at Homefield Bowl, an old-school bowling alley on Saw Mill River Road, Tuesday, while crews for the CBS series “Blindspot” were seen in the city’s Midland Avenue area, lohud.com reported.

According to lohud.com, other communities where stars of the big and small screen were, or may soon be, spotted this summer were Ossining, White Plains, Tarrytown, Bronxville, Mount Vernon, Rye and Ardsley in Westchester County, and Tappan in Rockland County.
