Elizabeth Thompson Colleary, consultant to the Whitney Museum and art history teacher at both the college level and at Scarsdale High School, previews Sir Frederic Leighton’s bold painting, "Flaming June," which will be on display at the Frick Collection this summer. The lecture, on Thursday, May 28, from 7 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. at Scarsdale High School, will also discuss Leighton’s celebrated work in relation to the Frick Collection’s other depictions of women by artists such as Vermeer, Fragonard, and Reynolds.
