SCARSDALE, N.Y. -- The community is invited to a Scarsdale Adult School Student/Teacher art show and opening reception Monday, Apr. 4 at 7 p.m. in the Scott Room at the Scarsdale Library.
This free evening festivity is open to the public.
The school offers a special program, a museum preview with guided tour and lecture on artist Edvard Munch Thursday, March 31 and Friday, April 1.

The preview and tour will be given by artist and SAS instructor Lynne Mayocole and she will lecture on Munch.
The artist is known for his painting “The Scream.” He was highly regarded for his exploration of dark themes, including alienation, sin, and human vulnerability.
The $25 museum preview class will meet Thursday, Mar. 31 from 1 to 3 p.m. at the Scarsdale Public Library.
The $50 guided tour will take students through the exhibit, “Edvard Munch and Expressionism,” Friday, Apr. 1 at 10 a.m. at the Neue Gallery in the New York City before it opens to the public.
