"As you are aware, property assessments were distributed by mail this past week. If you have not already done so, please take time to review your assessment. If your 2016 Residential Valuation Detail Sheet contains an error in the data reported on the sheet, or if you otherwise believe your assessment is inaccurate, please take time to complete and submit the necessary Complaint on Real Property Assessment form no later than the end of the Board of Assessment Review meeting on June 21, 2016.

"This meeting is scheduled to conclude at 8 p.m; however, the Board will continue beyond this time if a property owner is present and has not yet had the opportunity to be heard. In addition, you may contact the Assessor’s Office directly to resolve an error in the data recorded on your 2016 Residential Valuation Detail Sheet by either calling (914)-722-1133, submitting an email to assessor@scarsdale.com, or visiting Village Hall at 1001 Post Rd. Please note, however, that such inquiries are being handled on a first-come, first-served basis and, based on the volumes currently experienced, it may take a period of time before the Assessor or her staff are able to assist you with your inquiry.

"As such, you should preserve your right to contest your property assessment by continuing to prepare to submit your Complaint on Real Property Assessment form before the deadline underlined in the preceding paragraph. Instructions for completing a Complaint on Real Property Assessment can be accessed at this link. The Complaint on Real Property Assessment form can be accessed at this link."
