Mel's Army-Navy Center, a mainstay in Pearl River for 61 years, is the scene of its latest film shoot, according to lohud.com. The show, which begins its third season Sunday, Nov. 20, revolves around the ramifications of an extramarital affair between a novelist, Noah Solloway (played by Dominic West) and Alison Lockhart, a waitress,  played by Ruth Wilson. The other main characters are Joshua Jackson and Maura Tierney.

Production for "The Affair" has also been seen in Tappan and on Suffern Lane in Thiells, reports lohud.

Solloway's writing cottage is an actual cottage perched on the Hudson River in Nyack, according to lohud.

Rockland County is also the backdrop for scenes for Showtime's "Billions," CBS' "Madame Secretary," "Orange is the New Black" by Netflix, and "NBC's Blind Spot." If you see film crews, email jmuchnick@dailyvoice.com with any photos or celebrity sightings.
