The scene was shot Thursday, July 15.

The movie, starring Tom Hanks and Meryl Streep, is centered on the Washington Post's publication of the 1971 Pentagon Papers. According to Variety, Hanks plays Editor Ben Bradlee; Streep plays Publisher Kay Graham.

A Facebook posting in Love Larchmont also said scenes were shot at Iona College in New Rochelle and around the Beechmont area.

Area resident Nick Pagani (aka Hollywood Nick Pagani), who can be found most mornings at Sunshine Coffee Roasters in Larchmont (often with one of his vintage cars parked in front) said he also got a call to supply vintage automobiles.

According to an earlier Daily Voice story, the film and TV industry are booming in Westchester.
