The family of Chappaqua residents Hillary and Bill Clinton now includes a grandson.
The Clintons' daughter, Chelsea, announced early Saturday afternoon that she had given birth to her second child and first son.
"(Husband) Marc (Mezvinsky) and I are overwhelmed with gratitude and love as we celebrate the birth of our son, Aidan Clinton Mezvinsky," Chelsea Clinton said in a tweet posted around noontime.

Neither former President Bill Clinton nor Hillary Clinton, the frontrunner for the Democratic presidential nomination, had publicly commented on the birth of their grandson Saturday. Hillary Clinton retweeted Chelsea's birth announcement.
The Clintons have lived in Chappaqua since 1999.
Chelsea Clinton married Marc Mezvinsky in 2010. Both are alums of Stanford University. Mezvinsky's parents, Edward and Marjorie, served in Congress.
