Since daffodils spread, future generations will enjoy the new flowers for years to come. In its golden anniversary year, the White Plains Beautification Foundation has also donated daffodils to start a Mamaroneck Avenue planting at Bryant Avenue with the goal of having community donations and sponsorships to fund the extension of the daffodils all the way to the Hutchinson River Parkway.

The foundation hopes to plant 1 million daffodils in the next decade to brighten the city of White Plains with the promise of hope, beauty and wonder.
