White Plains Hospital Offers Free Seminar On Ways To Beat The Heat

WHITE PLAINS, N.Y. -- White Plains Hospital experts are helping Westchester residents take charge of their health by providing key information and tips on staying healthy during warmer months through the hospital's 'Hot Summer Topics' community education series.

In this free, public seminar Dr. Anita Mannancheril, a member of the hospital's Medical and Wellness center in Armonk, will explain how to keep your body safe during the dog days of summer. Among the topics to be discussed are summer sting awareness, sunblock safety and knowing the difference between heat exhaustion versus stroke.

The talk will be held on July 14 at 1 p.m. at the North Castle Public Library in Armonk.
