The fundraiser is spaghetti dinner on Sunday, Nov. 15 at the Ardsley Firehouse on 505 Ashford Ave.

Early in September, the Booster Club learned that Shivonie Hoobraj, the mother of one of the football players, had been diagnosed with late-stage, aggressive leukemia. Doctors told her that she has approximately 18 months left.

One of her sons has started a GoFundMe page to help with the medical bills, and the team and its players’ parents have been providing meals, but they wanted to do more for the family. In addition to the dinner, the Panther Booster Club is establishing a fund to assist the Hoojrab family with medical treatment costs and care for the boys.

The spaghetti dinner starts at noon and ends at 5 p.m. Tickets are $15, $5 for children.
